Tool handle structure
The structure of CNC machine tool holder is divided into two types: integral type and modular type. The working part of the integral tool holder for clamping the tool is integrated with its shank for installation and positioning on the machine tool. This tool holder has poor adaptability to the transformation of machine tools and parts. In order to adapt to the change of parts and machine tools, users must reserve tool holders of various specifications, so the utilization rate of tool holders is low. Modular tool system is a relatively advanced tool system, each tool holder can be assembled through various serialized modules. According to different processing parts and machine tools, different assembly schemes can be adopted to obtain a variety of tool holder series, thereby improving the adaptability and utilization rate of the tool holder.
The selection of the tool holder structure should take into account advanced technology and economical rationality: ① For some simple tools that are used repeatedly for a long time and do not need to be assembled, it is advisable to be equipped with an integral tool holder, so that the tool has good rigidity and is cheap (such as machining the outer contour of the part) (2) When machining multi-variety and small-batch parts with frequent changes in aperture and hole depth, modular tool holders should be used to replace a large number of integral parts. 3. For CNC machine tools, especially when the end of the machine tool spindle and the tool changing manipulator are different, the modular tool holder should be selected. Since the intermediate modules (posts) and working modules (tool-loading modules) used by each machine tool can be used in common, the equipment investment can be greatly reduced and the tool utilization rate can be improved.
Shank Specifications
Most CNC tool holders are 7:24 tapered tool holders, and the corresponding type of pull stud tensioning structure is used to match the machine tool spindle. There are various sizes of tool holders, and the commonly used sizes are 40, 45 and 50. At present, ISO7388-1983, GB10944-1989, MAS403-1982, ANSI/ASME B5.50-1985, etc. are widely used in my country. When choosing, the specification of the tool holder should be considered to be compatible with the machine tool spindle and manipulator.
The number of specifications of the handle
The integrated TSG tool system includes 20 types of tool holders, with hundreds of specifications. Users can select the types and specifications of tool holders according to the CNC machining process of the typical parts to be processed, which can meet the processing requirements without causing backlog. . Considering that a certain number of tool holders are in the process of presetting or tool grinding while the CNC machine is working, the number of tool holders is usually 2 to 3 times that of the required tool holders.
Matching of tool and handle
Pay attention to the matching of the tool holder and the tool, especially when choosing a tapping tool holder, pay attention to the size of the tap drive square head used. In addition, the selection of single-edged boring tools on CNC machine tools can avoid scratching the workpiece when the tool is retracted, but attention should be paid to the position and direction of the tool tip relative to the keyway on the shank: some machine tools require the same orientation as the keyway, while others require Perpendicular to the orientation of the keyway.
Choice of high-efficiency and composite tool holders
In order to improve processing efficiency, high-efficiency tools and tool holders should be selected as much as possible. For example, the double-edged boring tool holder can be used for rough boring, which can not only improve the processing efficiency, but also help to reduce the cutting vibration; the strong collet chuck can not only hold the straight shank tool, but also can hold the tool with holes through the adaptor, etc. . For typical workpieces with large batches and complex machining, composite tools should be used as much as possible. Although composite tools and tool holders are expensive, the use of composite tools on the machining center can combine multiple processes into one process and complete it by one tool, which is beneficial to reduce processing time and tool changes, and significantly improve production efficiency. . For some special parts, specially designed composite tool holders can also be considered.
